Who we are
Midnight Books was created by Chloé and Mackenzie, former Harvard colleagues, friends, and life-long readers. What began as a daydream between two friends looking for an escape from the mundanity of office jobs, took shape into something bigger– something magical. A business that breathes new life into pre-loved books, and spreads the magic and mystery of our favorite stories with our community.
In December 2024, we launched Midnight Books social channels on both TikTok and Instagram to start building our community online.
Our dream is to one day open a bookstore and cafe that looks like it sprung straight from the pages of our favorite fantasy books. A place where those looking to escape into new worlds can find community and respite. For now, we hope you’ll join us here in a new way to discover your next favorite book!
